On Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, the South Carolina Bar Foundation hosted its 2nd Annual Grantee Speed Networking Event at the SC Bar Conference Center in Columbia. This special gathering brought together more than 50 of our grantees for a day of meaningful connection, open dialogue, and peer-to-peer learning.
Strengthening Statewide Partnerships Through Conversation and Collaboration
With a focus on fostering new relationships and deepening collaboration across our legal community, the event featured a dynamic mix of speed networking rounds and engaging roundtable discussions. Each session was designed with our grantees in mind—offering space to explore pressing issues in legal access, share innovative strategies, and discuss real challenges faced in the field.
At its heart, the event was about more than just networking—it was about building a stronger, more connected statewide ecosystem of legal advocates and service providers. We invited attendees to shape the conversation by suggesting topics and naming peers they hoped to meet. The result? A customized, collaborative experience rooted in the real needs of our grantee community.
From legal aid to advocacy, education to outreach, our grantees do the hard work of advancing justice every day. We’re honored to support these mission-driven organizations and create opportunities for them to connect, collaborate, and grow together.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring day. We look forward to seeing what new partnerships and projects grow from the connections made.
