    Megan Sweeney Seiner serves as the Foundation’s Executive Director. Seiner works with the Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors in advancing justice to all South Carolina citizens through the programs and services offered by the nonprofit’s grantee organizations.

    Seiner has served as the Director of Externship and Special Academic Programs for the University of South Carolina School of Law since August 2014, where she developed strong relationships with students, alumni, attorneys, and state and federal judges throughout South Carolina. Before coming to USC School of Law, Seiner was an attorney for the Federal Emergency Management Agency and prior to that a trademark attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

    Seiner received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden and received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from The Catholic University of America.

    In the community, Seiner served on the SC Bar Wellness Committee. She served as the St. Joseph Catholic School Disaster Relief Coordinator, Student Bar Association and SC Bar YLD annual event organizer, and President-elect of the Catholic University of America Board of Governors. Seiner received the SC Bar Star of the Quarter Award, the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Program’s Law Student Wellness Award, and the USC Black Law Students Association’s Faculty Award.

    Marisa Cebulski serves as the Foundation’s Director of Finance and Administration. Cebulski is an accomplished operations and financial manager with progressive experience in private and nonprofit sectors in South Carolina, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

    Before coming to the South Carolina Bar Foundation, Marisa worked for the Congaree Land Trust as well as the Municipal Association of SC. She also previously managed foreign aid projects and international student exchange programs in the former Soviet Union and southeastern Europe.

    Marisa holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s in Russian Language & Literature from the University of Maryland.

    Marisa currently serves as a snack pack volunteer in partnership with the Optimist Club of St. Andrews-Irmo assembling food items for students in need in six local school districts. She also participates in PalmettoPride’s Adopt-A-Highway program by cleaning up litter along local roadways and promoting beautification in the Columbia area.

    Ashley Pullen serves as the Foundation’s Director of Marketing and Development. Ashley works closely with staff to create marketing materials and plans for the organization. She also works with the foundation’s grantee organizations to promote the work that they do in South Carolina. Ashley is responsible for all social media, newsletters and annual reports.

    Previously, Ashley worked as a program coordinator for the Center for Leadership at Columbia College where she was responsible for promoting, planning and executing student programming as well as outside programs that the college hosted.

    Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from The University of South Carolina in 2015. She currently serves on the My Carolina Young Alumni Council as well as the School of Journalism and Mass Communications Professional Advisory Board.

    Ashley is active in the Columbia community as a co-organizer of 1 Million Cups – Columbia, a member of Columbia Opportunity Resource and serves as a Victim’s Advocate for Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands. In her free time you can find her at a Columbia Fireflies game, walking her dog at the Riverwalk or taking a group fitness class at Dynamic Fitness and Health.
